Professional Development

ASID California North members have many avenues and opportunities to grow personally and to grow their business. ASID excels in providing opportunities for professional and personal growth through Professional Development.

The California North chapter, supported by ASID headquarters, offers educational seminars and talks, many for Continuing Education Units.

The Distinguished Speaker series is one of these seminars. Members may attend a half or whole day seminar to gain greater knowledge and understanding of a specific topic.

Additionally, ASID National will provide our members the STEP program as a support to take and pass the NCIDQ exam, enabling them to move forward to Professional status.

Monthly events are scheduled to offer additional educational talks, as well as more interaction with our peers and our industry partners. Topics at these monthly events cover a broad range such as new resources and materials, sustainable design and “green” resources, lighting, better business practices and more!
